L'associació de celíacs de Catalunya està fent difusió de la situació en què es troba el projecte de decret espanyol per l'etiquetatge adequat dels aliments en relació al gluten. Sembla ser que està actualment en la teranyina de la Comissió Europea, i s'ha elaborat un petit text per fer-lo arribar al comissari responsable, Markos Kyprianou, i fer una mica de pressió per mirar d'agilitzar el procés. Dear Comissioner, I am aware that there is going to be a Spanish Decree to regulate the labelling of gluten-free products and I fully support the initiative as it is an important step in improving the quality of life of coeliac people. For many years coeliacs have been asking for measures to improve the labelling of foods to clearly idenify gluten. This can help us very much in achieving a safe diet and increasing the variety of food we can eat and consequently has a significant impact in our quality of life.
